Can u provide a link for that? What created all the chaos was adding 2 new teams in 2011 a decision taken by Modi.I dont remember any rule that said wholesale auction in 2011 when IPL was created in 2008. As for MI and CSK getting all the advantages how do u explain Watson being held back for 2nd auction when no IPL team was informed any 2nd auction was planned.

And should the IPL's brand value rise, thereby attracting more investors to the fray, it's hard to see the BCCI stick to it's stance of not adding more franchises.
