I have seen him bowl googly even now in IPL and Bigbash. He did not have great googly anyway. As a leg spinner, one needs to turn his leg break and rarely any leg spinner in India has right basics to do that.

It's well known that he had problems landing the googly after his shoulder operation, and he stopped using it frequently after that.

In fact, his flipper was so useful because he could turn his leg breaks big. Batsmen would play for turn most times and got beaten with straight ball. Kumble who rarely turned ball had the bedt flipper because it would come too quickly to beat the batsmen for pace.

Flipper hurries on after pitching, but Warne's slider did nothing like that and was also not bowled like a flipper by squeezing the ball. Warne rarely bowled the flipper and googly after his surgery.
