CSK Fan Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 For those new to it, here is a quick guide to IPL 1) IPL is a cricket tournament so that those who have no skills in proper test match cricket can earn money and become famous. Cue MS dhoni 2) The team is yellow usually wins. Kind of like in a movie, the good guy is usually in white and bad guys are in dressed in black 3) If IPL was a daily soap, CSK are the big bads. They win the early battles and taunt the protagonist (Mumbai Indians) but in the long run (read IPL 6), the hero always defeat the villans 4) Its all stage-manned. Srini is the director calling the shots of this great show from behind the scene. Check out the huge RP Singh no-ball of the last ball 5) Do not confuse entertainment with quality. We all have our guilty pleasures and watch masala movies. But once the movies are over, we move on with our life and move to finer things. So no matter how much a certain player wins a tamasha lague, remember, ltrue egends are only those who perform at the highest stage of test cricket
