TN, WB, Bihar, UP, Assam, Punjab, Goa, HP, UK, Gujarat and now Karnataka. In a sense good for our democracy as it reduces the bargaining by so called 'kingmakers'. Total decimation for the BJP. If they are wise, they will learn lessons that elections are fought in the hinterlands and not in TV studios, otherwise another defeat coming up next year in 2014. I think this defeat had more to do with Yeddy leaving and the image of corruption that was associated with his Govt than with wrong strategy or being in TV studios.

Dilli, Rajashtan, MP and C'Garh are going to polls in November and BJP is winning Raj, MP and C'Garh (and even Dilli f they can have effective leadership and Kejriwal fizzles out). In AP its a triangular fight between Cong, Jagan Reddy and TRS and nobody will come close to a majority. In Maharashtra BJP/Shiv Sena doesn't have good leadershi so Cong will win despite running an extremely corrupt, apathetic Govt.

Not many are going to vote for Modi outside Guj and neither is anyone going to vote based on Rahul baba anywhere in India 2014 will be mostly about mandate for the performance of state govts regardless of how UPA perform.Exact reason why Congress should be fav to form govt LS elections
