Its not just about being lazy but also about learning the skills. Sanju is still predominantly a part time keeper he will never become a decent keeper unless he does it at the FC level. He also has to learn how to keep for say 2-3 days & bat out time to draw matches. We know how frequently india play odis if he is selected for them he will be never have the time or motivation to actually Learn them. Same became of rohit imo he never got to learn how to actually construct an innings or bat long times or to draw matches. He never could learn to correct his flaws in his technique becoz everyone was busy praising him to the hilt . It was just one odi after another.

Agree about this part. Rohit isn't lazy too. It is his outlook that gives such an impression very much like Azhar and Jadeja were. He did get complacent after initial success and gained a lot of weight but he realized it after he was dropped and came back fitter. Still remember his runout of Justin Kemp in T20 WC. He is still a very good fielder in 30 yard circle.

Regarding rohit i feels he is confused about what style he should adopt in sa in one innings he looked the best when he played his shots and took the attack to the opp but when he tried ot be too defensive he struggled.Also i feel with his reduced batlift which fletcher got in to his game his stoke play has suffered.
