Another arguement is with such a great team Pak had (according to you) why they never beaten India is a world cup? Why a team consists of so many great bowlers never lead their side to become no.1 in test arena? Here is the way your bowlers been remembered (atleast by us) Akhtar - Sixer over third man by Sachin in 03 world cup. Waqar - Sachin ended his career in 03 world cup after that centurion match. Saqlain - Viru ending his career in Multan. Saqi was never seen again. Amir - Bhajji hitting him for six in last ball asia cup. Afridi - Crying after 11 world cup. we are seeing the real pakistani batsmen and bowlers now days since there is no help from home Umpires and bottle tops. Imran was major product of these things, he used bottle caps to full extent in 1982-83 the only series in which he had any serious impact as bowler. To his credit he became a decent batsman from being a tailender later in his career ala Vettori.
