They were just waiting for a chance to strike back. I hope people realize that the Mumbai cricket association remains the most powerful in the country. Because usually Maharashtra and Viderbha and Baroda always stand behind them as a block. If you think the Mumbai lobby are going to allow Shukla to function then my friend you dont know Sharad Pawar. Sreeni goes then Shukla is as good as gone. If Pawar comes back and Government changes in Rajasthan, don't be surprised to see Chotha Modi saheb making a comeback.

He knows very well if he tried to come back Sena head Udhav will challenge him directly at the MCA using Vensagsarkar. Its more of a case of the owner of DY patil stadium being put forward by Pawar. You have to keep in mind Pawar stepped down from a lot of posts to ensure he kept his nephew Ajit Pawar at bay within the NCP. He cant fight on many fronts.

If someone does a coup against Srini, then srini may be thrown outside like Modi was too.

AJ is close to Vasundhara Raje as well and no way is he going to let LKM comeback. Congress or BJP, irrespective of who is power, all LKM can do now is rant on twitter and interviews.

Technically even Dalmiya is head of cricket bengal. But has no power. Dalmiya was himself deposed by a combo of Pawar-Bindra- Srinivasan. Traditionally Srinivasan and Pawar have been allies. It soured when Srinivasan banned DY Patil stadium which caused a lot of issues for Pawar with the Congress in Mumbai

Loksatta and Maharashtra times are reporting along those lines. All these seem to be a powerplay to remove Srinivasan by Pawar. I dont think CSK will be axed or Mayappan will be arrested.

And Pawar can get back from maharasthra cricket association too as his adress caused a problem last time. BMC is only a part of it, the government in Maharashtra is NCP/Congress. And Sena is not a staunch opponent of Pawar. He has links to every party.
