yoda Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 It will take some time for people to get used to a different notion of cricket format. It's been 6 years. If people don't like it still, don't think anything is going to change that.
Sundar88 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 MI will probably still make the finals because I don't see RR/SRH winning 2 consecutive games.
fineleg Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 can you explain to me how its not a cricket match? It will take some time for people to get used to a different notion of cricket format. Its not about T20 format. While I do consider it as a hit-and-giggle format, it is still a cricket match. I am talking about IPL tournament - that is an ostentatious vulgar display of wealth, jazz (and now corruption/fixing) - more mercenary in nature, than team based or country based passion. More partying and dancing than cricket. Win or loss in this type of boastful, pretentious tournament does not matter, and wont hurt much. TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM RANJI TROPHY. I can understand ur a Bombay supporter for Ranji. As far as IPL: We can watch it and troll. That is timepass. Agreed.

rkt.india Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 yet again rohit and karthik showing they have not grown up.they let pressure get to them does not bode well for their future in the indian team if they continue this way.i was pretty confident as well. if they find a way to bring their best, csk's bowling wud not have held up. the simple fact is lost on them. MI are a poor chasing side. Had bat first, result could have been different.
bulbul Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 No shame in losing to a superior side :hysterical: :hysterical:
