But the question remains, did he influence? Is there proof in that regard? CSK have played a pretty settled team combo through the seasons of the IPL. I dont think i can say if their selections were odd this season.

I just dont think there are the margins in guessing team composition for the CSK franchise. They have a settled line up. Always have had. I can predict their team for the finals right now. That means he would have got extremely short odds. Not worth betting. the bookies are not exactly stupid as well. They would have known who Vindoo hangs out with. There are pics of him with many CSK players and management. They are not just going to accept the bets he puts at some high odds. Clearly odds are dynamic in the illegal betting world and are given face to face.

In western countries you are not allowed to bet on insider information. The laws are very clear - best can only be placed with publicly disclosed information as the basis for the bets. I can't even buy stocks of my own company if I am aware of some deal which might potentially send it's stocks higher.

Thats exactly why Sreeni at the very least must step down and be forced to sell the CSK franchise to somebody.If nobody wants to buy then IMO they should be terminated. Problem for Srini was, his son and him are estranged. His daughter apparently is busy with running India cements with him. So he probably relied on his son in law to look over the CSK side. CSK is probably one the least important (in terms of money) properties of India cement. His son was telling a newspaper/channel that Srini wanted his daughter to marry Anand (the chess player). Dont think this guy was his first choice.

Again from reports coming out from 2011 this dude gambled 19-20 crore and came out with a loss of 1 crore. 19-20 crore is like pocket money for people like them. India cements is a mutli billion dollar listed company.

Even i am involved with bookies in the UK. They are on my local high street. Sometimes i goto them and place a bet.
