Even I tried sticking to the topic with some Bhuvi posts but people are more concerned about Mallus and fishes. :headshake:

Brilliant to lefties. Warner & Cowan in the Aus series and Nasir & Gayle in CT. Gayle was uncomfortable against Bhuvi during the IPL too.

i hope he keeps improving cos he is not bad to righties too but has perfect angle against lefties with some balls holding line others cutting them in half..

I liked the way he started against Kamran. He was expecting an inswinger and was in doubt for the first few balls or rather waiting for one and BANG! an inswinger which he edges to slip.

Don't forget the bowled/lbw's he had against the righties with the ball coming in. If he gets more support, can be the complete package for India, including death bowling

I thought today Bhuvi was a bit low on pace. It did work for him though. He was bowling at the PK pace for part of his spell. Maybe he realized that if he slowed up he got more swing especially with this ball?

when it swings this guy is as good as any bowler.. great find this year..i still think shami deserved a proper run and was bowling well and tight with new ball along with bhuvi :((

All Indian bowlers seemed to be low on pace today. Maybe they were asked not to go all out to avoid injuries in a dead rubber?

could be. They were getting a lot more swing than their pakistani counterparts. But your right I think management wanted them to avoid injury.

Of course, he did and as MTC mentioned of needing a support from the other end- Shami was the perfect guy. These guys gave a hell lot of trouble to the English openers; Bell and Cook, who are generally known as solid at the start. I think even Bell acknowledged these 2 by stating that they have to respect and be very watchful against Bhuvi and Shami. I really thought Shami would make it to the CT but they stuck to the Ishants and Vinays. :headshake:

That could be it. Yadav was very slow and so was Bhuvi who bowled at an avg. of 135+ in the previous games.

seriously it was perfect opening bowling attack both were super tight and gave away almost nothing shami's length would have suited these pitches much much more..
