Its what enables a pyjama hero like Dhoni to earn 100 times more than Captain Cook the boycott wannabe. Its professional sports, they are pros, meaning they are in it for the money. Therefore, the only real form that matters is pyjama cricket, as it is what pays the bills and it is what pros are most motivated by. BCCI owns 80% of cricket. Your ashes tour is a financial loss without BCCI charity. Money talks, everything else walks or have you brits forgotten the very concepts you invented about economics ? We dont care whether you few thousand englishmen care about cricket or not. Cricket exists to serve us and 1.2 billion Indians. Not you englishmen. True, 20/20 is more important than ODIs. but ODIs are more important than tests. Tests is nothing more than 'show cricket' of archaic type which players play pretty much because they are forced to play or are too limited to play in ODI stage.

Just two decades eh? So we've been owning your asses for the remaining 70 years. This is unfair, maybe we should throw a few matches just to make India more competitive against us. Maybe India should be allowed to bat for 3 innings next year. We need 4 day games at least.

That's because it's 8 countries viewing over two countries. It's still dead. Their only watching because England's playing anyway.

They are watching because India is playing. We are 80% of cricket revenue and market. You exist to serve us. Dont forget that. Your tests will die before ODIs die. ODIs will get squeezed between the greater money of 20/20 and prestige of test cricket but money outlasts prestige. Test cricket will eventually die and ODIs will expand to fill that gap.
