indiaregulator Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 I have a question for you or any English supporter here ,forget for second about this ball tampering issue. Let us talk about other issue of Swann he wanted to kill that poor Srilankan guy for not walking and on the same token he comes out and supports Stuart Broad for not walking why double standards.FYI I dont blame Broad one bit he did what most of the player do now a days. Where I have problem is the double standards England players seem to have. They want other teams and players to uphold spirit of game when it benefits them and when their turn comes to uphold it they seem throw it out of window. Ian bell case is one whole England coaching staff went into third umpire/Dhoni and pleaded for Bell's recall but they strongly endorsed Stuart broad's move. Paul Collingwood when he was captain refused to call Grant Elliot back on that run out but he asked Daniel Vettori to call his appeal back when he was run out. First of all you can't really take Swann seriously he's a bit of a troll. In an interview which was censored he said on live camera's "I think we'll win at Lord's cause the aussies...well they're a bit **** aren't they?" Second of all, this sort of hypocrisy isn't anything to do with England. If a close friend of yours was beaten up by a thug then of course you're going to hate the thug. If a close friend of yours beats the crap out of someone, you're hardly going to hate your best friend. Same here. When it works against you, all the injustice in the world, when it works for you, err oh well. It happens in every sport, in real life and at every level.
Crookbond Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 So now in order to prove one wrong, we take another example where wrong was done. Then they :whine: when people get on their a** for troll comments.

It is fine hating a thug who has beaten your friend what is not fine is preaching others not to be a thugs while you are being number one thug around. Preach but not practice is a fashion for every England player/fan/media thru out the history. When Jimmy Anderson reverse swings it is an art and England is best in business of making the ball reverse but when Waqar/Wasim did it it was cheating and ball tampering. When you are immoral yourself expecting others to be moral is bit too much.
hhunaeh Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 why take it to such extremes and say something over the top like "i wanted to kill someone" especially after the days play. It didn't look like the aussies wanted to kill broad. The english are bloody racists. I can't wait for the day when the aussies start sticking it to them again.

Swanny's justification was that it's ASHES BRO, HEAT OF THE BATTLE so it's alright, what does that have to do with your analogy? He is a holier than thou big mouth who is full of crap, you may as well be succinct
