Does it justiy to have dharmasena in ICC's Elite panel of umpires?

Most ridiculous decisions made yesterday. The whole ashes has been a comedy of errors. I personally don't think dharmasena is a good umpire at all. Kindly give your views.. CLpxMSoEIYI

I dont how we are solely blaming Dharmasena.AFAIK,third umpire only provides info,the final decision still rests with on field umpire.Dharmasena might have provided all info,but Tony Hill may still have stuck with his decision

Wasn't he just following the DRS protocol? I think they have the protocol for a reason. The protocol is meant to overcome certain limitations in the technology.

How can you conclude that tony might have made his own decision. When it goes to third umpire..he plays the major role in deciding the final call. what's the point of consulting him then

as I said,final call still rests with onfield umpire,3rd umpire can't to anything in regards to the decision,he just gives info onfield umpire needs

But my point is that..dharmasena played the major role and he's made a blunder

not just about being in elite panel or not. We just need quality umpires and dharmasena sucks. who cares about nationality. Even if a bangladeshi umpire or any other country...is good at what he does...im all for it
