The best IMO he should do is be ultra defensive v the quicks and curb his poking insticts and get himself in such a run that his form works in his favour. Essex are heading for a draw and IMO their promotion hopes are gone as Northants have won increasing the margin between the two teams. Get a feeling that GG might be playing 2-3 dead rubber games to come. Might as well cash in on those. Link to comment
