The lone JDU MLA too extend support to AAP.... Tough situation for AK to wriggle out... AK has asked for 10 days now to make a decision. Best option foe AAP now it's to put conditions like bringing Janlokpal bill etc...and use those conditions to not form the Govt.

AAP in a dilemma whether to form govt. or not. If they go for re-elections' date=' BJP will win with clear majority and AAP will lose its stand. If the form govt. now, they will lose their own identity as an anti-corrupt party.[/quote'] Screwed if they form the Govt. and screwed if they don't form the Govt. Welcome to politics AAP :haha: IMHO they shouldn't even think of forming a Govt. with Cong. because it will totally destroy their credibility forever. Maybe take the support of BJP (they have offered it) or go for re-election but taking the support of Cong will destroy the party.

Why is the AAP writing a letter to the BJP now ? They already have the Congress's unconditional support. The BJP has promised constructive support which is what an opposition party does anyway. Does the AAP want no opposition party in the Delhi Assembly ? This drama by AAP is really getting ridiculous.

they have written a letter to both Sonia Gandhi (Cong Prez) and Rajnath Singh (BJP Prez) with 18 demands. Kejriwal said AAP would wait for a response from the two parties and then ask for the people’s opinion by conducting mohalla sabhas (colony-level meetings). “Only after knowing people’s opinion, will we be able to tell you whether or not we want to form a government,” Kejriwal said. I must say that this is absolutely ridiculous from AAP and they are fumbling right from the start in Delhi.

Hard to believe what I am hearing now. Is this for real ? Internal Lokpal. Mohalla Sabha. You either want to be in power or don't.

I think Kejriwal still hasn't realized that he is no longer just a protester but by contesting these elections he has suddenly become a part of the system that can solve the problems. It seems he is still trying to troll the other parties by making outrageous demands. If he keeps this charade going a while longer then his support among the public will start decreasing very fast. His political inexperience and naivete has been very much apparent since the day the results came out - he just doesn't know whether to support Cong/BJP or go for re-elections.

Yes - right. On one hand, you criticize the "dirty tricks" of the Congress day in and day out while on the other you believe that Congress is offering "unconditional support" to AAP. Already, the Congress is accusing the AAP without answering specific questions. The letter to BJP is to ask them on what issues are they offering support and what they are not. They are not accusing BJP of anything. If anything the whole, sacrilegious stand of "we want to serve the people of Delhi" attitude by BJP when they have been doing nothing in the MCD for last 3 terms comes right out of Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam. In addition, it is not as if BJP has never been involved in horse trading in the past.

Haha....there will be silence from BJP and Congress on that letter exposing the scums yet again.
only in your dreams man, they have only made a mockery of themselves . check out the very good comprehensive reply of cong MLAs [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9qCVBc7ZNY]India News - Delhi post-poll updates: Congress responds to AAP's letter . - YouTube[/ame]

AAP has asked to clarify the meaning of "unconditional support". By definition, "unconditional support" means you agree to everything AAP says while in the government. Knowing Congress history of "unconditional support", they have asked them to clarify them over 18 issues. Since Congress can't say YES on some of them including (but not limited to) Discom Audit etc. they are back to their usual rhetoric. In some ways, AAP has thrown the ball back into Congress' court and calling out their bluff.

I don't think anyone here is stupid enough to believe that. The sooner Kejriwal realizes that he is now a part of the system the better it will be for his party's future.
