Ryan Harris has been ruled out for up to two months with a hamstring injury, giving Australia a scare ahead of this winter's Ashes series. It was the first time the seamer had played four consecutive Test matches in a career permeated by injury problems. The first Test of the winter Ashes begins on 21 November in Brisbane. The pace bowler also struggled for fitness ahead of this summer's Ashes series, which England would win 3-0. _69536399_ryan_harris2_getty.jpg More:http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cricket/23879913 He shouldn't have played final test

Now at least there is something to hang on to for the aussies though don't know why they left out johnson he should be brought into the squad.
They already play starc. Can't have both of them in same 11 tbh.

Johnson was generating some serious pace in the T20. 93-94 mph. I think he had the experience to bowl better than Starc. Has been a different bowler since he sorted out his personal issues. In any case, its probably the perfect time for Harris to get injured. Rest up in September and October. Play a few games in November and be perfect for the ashes in December. I am sure a lot of aussie fans are breathing a sigh of relief that Harris has picked up an injury now compared to November or December. Harris will be even more deadly on the Aussie strips.
