But, such a discussion is only possible once you give honest suggestions and mention both sides of the story. Currently, it's like a fish market where the seller is trying to fool a price and the buyer is trying to bargain. The actual content is lost in the middle of needless rhetoric and "mine is better than yours" type arguments. Add to that - smart joe sarcasm and you have the ideal recipe for a complete disaster. Anyways, if that makes people happy then they can carry on.

Second, Government is already in charge of temple administration (other than that of privately funded temples like swaminarayans). I used to hate going to temples as a kid because most were filthy disgusting places. Then, I found out the reality. And it all made sense. 1000s of temples are lying in decay all over the country due to corruption in temple administration.

May be the case in TN is a different story bcoz, there r a few ppl who has a fear of god r remaining here. I agree a few famous temples like palani r minting money but yet the temple is filthy.
