Ram
What are we seeing here ? Off late , the Indians have proved adept the art of great escapes , pulling off one close victory after another from near-loss situations. Be it the consecutive matches against England and S.Africa in the 20/20 , or the semis against Aus or the two nail-bitingly close matches against Pak , we have come out on tops when the barometer really shot up. And yesterday again, we pulled one out of the hat when it almost seemed lost. 24 runs off 20 balls, with 5 wickets remaining , 9/10 times the team chasing would have won. Comments ? Link to comment

Gambit
We've always been known for doing well in pre final must win games. By hook or crook, we used to achieve the NRR/points/whatever was needed to make it to the final or to make sure that the last game was a decider. Where we need to improve are the finals. Of course, this was one sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. :D Link to comment

gs
Are Indians the new masters of pressure situation ? You mean converting easy wins into nerve wracking "down to the wire" kinda matches by letting opposition off the hook? Or making a mound of a mole hill while chasing fairly easy targets? They are masters alrite! :D Link to comment
Dravid
we have been doing good in bowling pressure situations.. but when we see target 300+ we still choke Link to comment
Rahul Khan
its too early to believe that India has totally mastered to handle the pressure situations... we have been doing good in bowling pressure situations.. but when we see target 300+ we still choke its precise...I totally agree with you! All those nerve wracking matches in recent memory should have been easy wins for us....Only the indian team can grab defeats from jaws of victory Link to comment

Playing against Australia is a whole different game. let's not get carried away with one win. I think the next game is the acid test. If we can win that, there is a slight chance of levelling the series. Australia may have been a touch complacent in the fourth game.....none of that slack will be there in the 5th game.
