A request to fellow ICFrs and Mods - Sachin Retirement

Hello everyone, As we all have heard the breaking news about Sachin Tendulkar retiring from international cricket. I would like to request fellow ICFrs and specifically that 'youngistan' bandwagon brigade who were insulting Sachin every time he failed or not... To please respect and not insult Sachin in any tribute thread or in general till his retirement.. You all got what you want ...It's time to show respect and homage to him... We all Indian cricket fans grew up with him and I sometimes feel Sachin is part of me and India.. I get angry and sad when I read anything against him and I am sure most Indian feel this way as well.. So a humble request to fellow ICFrs to not disrespect our icon and Mods till his 200th test, can you be strict on posters or posts doing name-calling or insulting our legend... Sachin Sachin we will miss you!!! Rahul

I think he is suggesting that the opinions against Sachin should be expressed in other threads. The tributes thread should just allow his followers to pray tribute to the man without his critics telling how Sachin was not good enough. And that is a reasonable request.
