Crookbond Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 I watched this part live on TV and Tendulkar just looked a different batsman from the mellowed tennis elbow one.
Jersey #10 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 No matter what the new batsmen achieve in the future, they'll never pass Sachin. Sachin has made tens of thousands of runs on some of the most lively pitches around the world. Today's batsmen have the benefit of playing a lot of games on some of the flattest tracks.
fineleg Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Great batting on a turning pitch. Something the likes of Yuvis, Rainas, (even for ODIs - those two) and Kohlis and Dhawans should watch repeatedly.
vamos_rafa Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 The nod...the nod :) Yeah man.. Slater summed it perfiectly. The nod and the idiosyncrasies of Tendulkar.
zep1706 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Didn't want to open a new thread for this, but is it just me or the cricinfo facebook page is going overboard with Sachin's retirement updates? There are still quite a few days and two test matches remaining before he retires, but they are flooding the whole page with Sachin's updates everyday. This is coming from someone who's been a fan of Sachin all his life.

G_B_ Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 look how **** the stadiums were back then. good grief thankgod for the ipl. Atleast some improvement in infra has come out of it.
SLICKR392 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Wow ! Manjrekar ruined it as usual. Fecking douche bag

I thought you hated H? Time to post some dismissal videos, mate! :winky:

They sit right behind me mate and I can assure you that they are baffling me as well. I have been here for 2 years and one thing I have noticed them doing is to put down Sachin somehow in casual talks. But, they are simply coming up with ideas to rake up clicks..

I was talking about their facebook page actually. It's getting ridiculous. I am going to unlike the page until Sachin retires and then like it again later.
