I mean against Pak and England. He failed to score in 2 out 3 games where as Rohit failed in SL' date=' Pak series and the last ODI against England. He basically scored in 1 match out of 10.[/quote'] In CT, it was rohit, he failed in finals, apart from that, he had performed better. In west indies, he had performed consistently, everyone struggled. I don't remember the statistics of zimbabwe, but I guess, he failed there.

Was yesterday any thing there in bowling or the surface? Infact, yesterday's pitch was too sluggish and slow, comparable to sri lanka's condition, with better outfield and dew. The first match was the one where the techniques of all the indian batsman got exposed, barring rohit sharma, who got himself out.
Techniques of batsmen got exposed in Mohali,....Kapil Dev and Wasim Akram ..both of them were criticising Rohit's technique.

Yeah, raina has no technique, survives on video game shot, midwicket hoick, dhawan's feet never move, dhoni backs his instinct, jadeja can hardly bat. Kohli is able to manage, that's why he is best ODI bat. Rohit Sharma's technique has never been a problem, it is his attitude. Barring rohit, no one in the present indian team can play fast bowlers, they can manage them, there is a difference between managing fast bowlers and playing fast bowlers. Even sachin tendulkar, the legend, was good in managing the fast bowlers. This may sound weird, but this is true. Inzamam ul haq was best player of fast bowlers. Now, I am not from pakistan, and is an Indian, i am just stating the fact. And by any means, I have mentioned that rohit sharma is legend, before you even start making mockery out of this. I just stated one point.

he he he you have not watched inzamam batting then. I always wished that sachin hits the way inzamam trashes the ball. though sachin always has been good in playing long innings, that's beneficial for indian cricket team.

//Techniques of batsmen got exposed in Mohali// if ball bounces more than a batsman except, then even a batsman of stature of kallis cannot do anything. durban, 2010, sreesanth's famous bouncer. :)

Can we just agree that all three of them have been responsible for the two big chases. Rohit takes up the early pressure while Dhawan attacks. Rohit later on steps it up against spinners. And obviously both can play calmly at around or below 6rpo as they know kohli is there to pick up the pace later on. Even Dhoni played a very crucial part yesterday. started picking up 1-2 runs when he came in and prevented a collapse.
