Yeah that is definitely true. I don't think he has it in him to be a good speaker. I would have preferred Dravid. He is really fluent in English.

But speaking from a more serious tone, I would have loved it if Dravid had come out with this statement. He would have hit it home.

Kumble said that when he was new to International cricket, Pataudi said Kumble can not spin the ball hence would not be a wicket taking bowler but a containing bowler. After 600 wickets, he could never confront him. He went on for some time about it too. What exactly he wanted to convey here ??? :idunno:

Basically, he says that an appreciable percentage of cricket is played in the mind i.e. even if someone writes you off as 1D, you can carve your own nice (IMO, works in your professional life too)
