Zanjeer Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 What a boring speech by kumble. Everyone looks they gonna sleep. He is trying to be funny but no one is laughing or even smiling... West Indies players look so annoyed...:haha:
carnish Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 No emotions at all ... There's more fun listening to MMS than listening to this guy. Thank God he could bowl, and did everything he did for India on the field. Had someone like Robin Singh gave such a speech, somebody might just would kill him.

carnish Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 was it that bad?:hysterical: He had good points but after listening about 5 minutes, I just couldn't catch a single change of expression in his voice or his face. Just quit after that.

Cricketics Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Dravid should be asked to do all of this. He is great. His speech in Australia during Bradman oration was brilliant. Even had great sense of humour too.
Number Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 you want him to be a stand up comedian ? :giggle:
G_B_ Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 listened to it and some very good points. As some posters have mentioned, he is not entering some oratory competition. How about we judge a person by the content and not the delivery? I gather that the Indians have devised codes for communication on the ground, given that half the players in the opposition now understand the relevant Hindi and certainly know the meaning of all the unprintables uttered in the heat of play. maybe the umpires in the recent India-Aus match knew was Sir was swearing considering that they too are part of the IPL?

Crookbond Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Kumble warns the BCCI History has shown that it is in their periods of overwhelming superiority that nations sow the seeds of their fall from grace. It was true of the Roman Empire; it was true of the British Empire. The analogy can be extended to cricket. Perched on top as the most significant and influential cricketing country, we must guard against repeating historical mistakes.
Magneto Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Kumble warns the BCCI Kumble has balls :two_thumbs_up:
GoldenSun Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Kumble warns the BCCI :hatsoff: He was always a man of integrity, so I'm happy he came out and said what we all wanted to hear. I hope he doesn't lose his position for warning BCCI.

Cricketics Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Kumble warns the BCCI I wish Tendulkar and Dravid and some of our BCCI commentators step up too and say things like what Kumble did. But the treatment Manjrekar got, I don't expect them too be specific. Someone got to come out and be real specific about the situation.
