Dhawan-Rohit will hopefully open 3: Kohli 4: No slogger. A good, technical batsmen who can get the job done. My pick: Rayudu. 5: Raina 6: Dhoni 7: Jadeja 8: Ashwin 9: Pacer 10: Pacer 11: Pacer/Spinner (Depends on pitch, usually will be a 3rd pacer) Batsmen in squad: Dhawan, rohit, kohli, rayudu, raina, dhoni, pujara, maybe someone from u19 Aus cup like chand. Spinners: Ashwin, Jadeja, Mishra Pacers: Bhuvi, Umesh, Shami are the core in my opinion. A 4th seamer is hard to speculate on but options: Mohit, Varun Aaron, Shukla I would not include yuvraj singh. One of yuvraj/raina has to go and I would rather have raina in the lower order. Hopefully raina gets much better from now to Cup against swing and short ball. If not, have chand replace him.

Gautam Gambhir ( experienced campaigner with good record in CB Series 2008 in Australia , played in CB Series 2012 and did wel in Tests/OD's in NZ in 2009 . His knock won us the WC 2015 and provided recovers atleast a semblance of that form , he owuld be a valued addition considering that experienced backup is required for Yuvraj and Raina ) 14.
