Selectors have to keep giving opportunities to as many new seamers or pacers in international cricket. They won't do worse than Vinay Kumar or Unadkat who are just not good enough and will be bread and butter in World Cup in Australia. Even Umesh who is considered a bit wayward should be given more chances in ODIs because he can pick a few wickets with his pace. How is he worse than Vinay who gives 100 runs in 7 overs and looks very ineffective ? Its not a big deal if the team lose an ODI or two. The pressure of the big match scenario could bring the best out of them. If we get two genuine quickies, it will make a big difference to our side in the longer run. I'm not sure the selectors or management realize they are not doing enough to strengthen our seam/pace bowling unit. They need to give more chances to Umesh Yadav, Mohit Sharma, Ishwar Pandey, Pawan Suyal, Varun Aaron, Dhawal Kulkarni, Rahul Shukla etc. There is talent but they need to be given opportunities. There is not a lot of time to go before the World Cup.
