G_B_
hmm so India have to chose 3 out of these 4 Zaheer Shami Umesh Bhuvi IMO we will need to extra pace of Umesh. Zaheer has the experience and it a left arm bowler adding variety So its a shootout between Shami and Bhuvi. Link to comment
express bowling
hmm so India have to chose 3 out of these 4 Zaheer Shami Umesh Bhuvi IMO we will need to extra pace of Umesh. Zaheer has the experience and it a left arm bowler adding variety So its a shootout between Shami and Bhuvi. Shami and Bhuvi are both good at swing and seam movement. Both bowl good areas. But Shami is 10 k faster, has a good bouncer, can reverse swing the ball. In FC, Shami has 82 wickets from 20 matches. @ 4 wickets per match . Av. 25, SR 48. Bhuvi has 158 wickets from 52 matches. @ 3 wickets per match. Av. 26, SR 57. In tests, Shami has 11 wickets from 2 matches. Av. 16, SR 25. Bhuvi has 9 wickets from 6 matches. Av. 37, SR 69. If nothing else, Shami's short test career proves his current form. It will be very unfortunate if Bhuvi is preferred over Shami, based on hard facts. Link to comment

Lol shami is first bowler who will be picked Choice will be between bhuvi and umesh and bhuvi will be picked and tbh umesh seems to be out of form now Link to comment
Ghost Buster
Umesh looks out of form, if he cant get wkts of domestic batsman how will he get wkts of top,SA batsmen. Link to comment
Sidhoni
The shootout will be Bhuvi-Umesh and not Bhuvi-Shami. Shami is in best form out of all 4 and will definitely play. Link to comment
NameGoesHere
hmm so India have to chose 3 out of these 4 Zaheer Shami Umesh Bhuvi ......... If this lineup is true, while we may have had better individual bowlers (Kapil, Srinath) I cannot remember a time when India had a more promising (in theory) quartet of pace bowlers, and I have been watching since the late 70s.
