Do not introduce spin until at least 20th over. Tell fast bowlers to bowl quick and go for wickets. i.e tell yadav you have new ball and will bowl 4 overs straight as a min. I back you

bones Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 I wouldn't change the side too much, sometimes travelling abroad without time to settle in can be horrible. I would definitely change the batting order though, I don't think Dhoni can stay at 6 given how weak the top order has been against Steyn. He too may get dismissed, but rather you try and find out than to see the inevitable failures of Dhawan and Sharma. The bowling, well unless Ishant turns into McGrath overnight and Shami wakes up as Malcolm Marshall, it will take miracles to get them to develop the level of skill other attacks possess. The bowling issue in India is at the grassroot level and needs to be addressed there.

Kleinvelt isn't even bad. He is pretty decent just in the Aussie series, they were bouncy flat decks which he couldn't really do much with (Adelaide) and Brisbane it was just nerves on debut. He is a decent bowler.

But bowled combined 6 overs in first 35 overs in SA conditions. How would you feel if Junaid and Irfan were bowled a total of 6 overs in first 35 overs. And instead a combination of Shoaib Malik and Umar Amin was brought on to bowl in 12th over in SA conditions
