It's not impossible

India have batted out 5th day to save a test match in South Africa twice. Das and Dravid did the hardwork on first occasion while Gambhir helped India out on 2nd occasion. Bit of a positive intent will help. Put the bad balls away, don't go into the shell before a lunch/tea, don't get sucked into verbal banters, and run well between the wickets. Rahane should bat ahead of Rohit but I don't expect bull-headed Dhoni to change the batting order. I'd even consider using Jadeja as a session-watchman. If India loses a wkt right before a break, send Jadeja in. If we can get 30 ball out of him, it's a bonus.

Yes, 25/30 overs should be enough if India scores at 10 runs per over ;-). Should give Marshall Sharma, Zaheer Ambrose, and Mohammed Garner enough time to bowl Saffies out.

25/30 over batting is enough
You mean 25/30 overs is sufficient for Steyn, Mor, Phil, Peterson and Duminy to get us all out? Possible, but give it a few more overs buffer. But yes possible.

60 over batting with run rate of about 3 which is possible with cheju and Kohli playing is more than enough They won't chase down 150 in last session ..we don't have to bat whole day just need to do enough

I have a dream..... that Pujara and Kohli shall wipe out the deficit in the first session (realistic) that Rohit and MSD will blast twin tons (LOL) that MSD will declare at tea (Call the ambulance) that Jaddu will get a Kumblesque 10-for
