Yesterday Uttrakhand CM Vijay Bahugana was asked by Cong to resign from his post. Today senior leader Harish Rawat was sworn in as the new CM. So mismanagement of the Uttrakhand floods was not a good enough reason to sack him last year but now that the Lok Sabha elections are near and Cong's prospects in Uttrakhand don't look good under him, he has been asked to resign.....

BJP hints at post-poll alliance with JD(U) http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/BJP-hints-at-post-poll-alliance-with-JDU/articleshow/29742216.cms i wonder if Sharad Yadav might be politicking behind the scenes. Seems to have come out with some pro bjp if not pro modi remarks..... Even the JD(u) must be aware that if they win less than 10 seats in bihar there is a good chance of defections within the elected people. Better to support from outside or even join the NDA and proclaim yourself as pro BJP and not pro modi.

Fearing action, kin of 2 netas quietly give flats back to Maharashtra government http://www.dnaindia.com/mumbai/report-fearing-action-kin-of-2-netas-quietly-give-flats-back-to-maharashtra-government-1955544

In the backdrop of the ongoing controversy over alleged misuse of chief minister’s housing quota, two beneficiaries have quietly surrendered the flats that they had availed under the scheme. According to RTI activist Anil Galgali, deputy speaker of lower house Vasant Purke’s wife Premlata and BJP spokesperson Prakash Javdekar’s son Apurva have returned their apartments in April 2012 and December 2013 respectively. As per government norms, flats are allotted at highly concessional rates to people who have excelled in their respective fields, with the condition being he/she should not own a residential property in Mumbai. Flouting of this norm can amount to criminal offence. While Premlata had been allotted a flat having 566 sq ft carpet area at Oshiwara, Apurva got a 402-sq ft apartment at Tunga building in Powai. Both the allotments were obtained by filing false affidavits, alleged Galgali. The RTI activist said, “Premlata applied for allotment under the CM’s discretionary quota despite the fact that her husband had already availed under the benefit.” Similarly, Prakash Javdekar applied for a house for Apurva, his second son, in 2001 even though his other son Ashutosh had got a flat at Kingstone building, Powai. “Ashutosh sold it after 18 months of the allotment,” said Galgali. Vasant Purke was not available for comments, while Prakash Javdekar told dna that they had surrendered the flat so the matter should be put to rest. He said, “Publishing such news will disturb my children. They are very sensitive.”

^ Nice. Now only if this works in every situation then we will grow. I hope Prakash Jawdekar realizes that its more important in public life to walk to talk. :two_thumbs_up: And I am sorry but janta dont give damn about how your kids are sensitive. Its a shame that you are not sensitive. How about teaching them honesty. I hope BJP throws away all the corrupt and dirty politicians 1 by 1.

These are only opinion polls. But seriously if this happens in Bihar, then Nitish loses, BJP maintains and RJD gains. Total BF :hatsoff:
