Three key left-handers

Very unfortunate that India has lost three key left-handers to bad form which has exposed them. They have technical weakness against pacers but when in form they can sorta manage. But when out of form - look ugly. Without these 3, Indian ODI team looks lost with hacks like Nohit :( 1. Yuvi - batting, bowling and fielding 2. Raina - batting n fielding (some bowling) 3. Gambo - opening

Setting targets, run chases - over last 5-10 years these guys helped in ODIs

Yuvi is always my favourite because of their ultimate style of playing I just love to see him while he is fielding..I am a die hard fan of him while is one the pitch! He must be there :( Sports headlines

I don't like idea of Gambo playing in the middle, as he is better off as an opener. But as far pacing in an innings is concerned, he has been pretty handy. Scored a good & quick 60 in the CB series before getting run out. Unlike Rahane, who gets into the shell and struggles to balance an innings in ODIs. Its better to slot Rohit or someone new like Jadhav or Samson in the middle order.

Those quick 30s and expansive 40s are not going to take him anywhere. What he needs is a constructive innings of sorts - ton. And not just one, but many tons to make a comeback. But as you said, he is never out thanks to Dhoni and Srini Mama - The CSK brigade that carry passengers on every tour :wall:

Are Ishant and Rohit part of csk?jaddu was given a lot of chances even when he sucked and was with RR.This is Dhoni's clique more than csk brigade.
