Indian Express front page " Dhoni told panel that Gurunath had nothing to do with CSK". Is there any doubt that Dhoni is trying to mislead the whole judicial investigation? It is not even non-co-operation. It is blatant misleading. How that can be condoned from an Indian captain is beyond me.
We must have access to the transcripts of the investigation. That should nail Dhoni.

U are completely missing the point. He lied to the sc appointed committee to save G.m and he toed the line of csk that he was just a cricket enthusiast and was not involved in cricketing affairs' date='which committee found to be false. He could get in to whole lot more trouble once g.m is convicted and its on record that he tried to help a criminal by not telling the truth.Hussyey was not called before the sc .[/quote'] 'If' that is the case, Dhoni, I believe would face the same consequences as Trivedi. Trivedi was aware of all the fiasco that was looming around on between Sreesanth & co. and the bookies. He did not inform a 3rd party about, if Dhoni knew all this, neither did he.

nail him the ****** on conflict of interests. Picking players to boost his finances. Just the case of flying in 20 stone RP singh (of rhiti sports) in to open bowling in test match in England, that was one of the most filthy blatant exploitation of being captain of india for one owns personal benefit. We lost that test. Thanks dhoni you piece of ****, so glad it made money for you though!!!

More in case what happens to world cricket if Dhoni let's just say actually is found guilty. I don't think Indian cricket could recover from this because Dhoni is considering a star. When Azhar was ousted at least there was Tendulkar but this would be yeah. Interesting to note what the international players were thinking or if there are any involved.

This is what I've been pondering since the morning. Under Dhoni, the Indians won many bilateral and 3 ICC trophies. This bloke was the one who hit the winning runs in the World Cup. If he is found to be a culprit, It could prove to be far worse than what world cricket faced with Cronje's downfall.

Match fixing reports are just allegations ,we do not even know who the players are and we should not be giving much due to it till we have something concrete.

How's the mood in India since the bombshell yesterday? I haven't seen the reactions of blokes such as Dev' date=' Shastri, or Gavaskar regarding this.[/quote'] They are all gagged.

Well it's pretty clear that Dhoni was trying to protect Meiyappan. I hope that he is not involved in anything else.

To be their respectable mouth piece and give out propaganda to suit what BCCI and srini and co want to go out in public domanin. i.e from DRS to defending fat cement man they will do it. After all that's what they are paid to do

I genuinely don't believe if Dhoni himself may be involved in match fixing. But he'll go to any extent to please his boss Srini and that includes giving false testimony or partial selection of players in 11. I was suggested once that Umesh Yadav doesn't find a place in playing eleven because he comes from Vidharbha, a stronghold of Shashank Manohar who doesn't have good equations with Srini. I had laughed it off at that point of time. But now I feel it is very much possible and Dhoni discourages Yadav for the same purpose.

Then you have Ashwin who is a great player but it is like someone is telling him not to attack like some spinners do in World Cricket. Then the whole Pujara not playing ODIs till now I guess. There are a lot of questions that are just interesting. Maybe I'm reading too much into and maybe Dhoni isn't the guy who does that but maybe Dhoni isn't the guy we see in front of the cameras.

I feel there is something really eerie about MS Dhoni that the public has yet to see. When i first got a glimpse of him in 2007-08 when he came to Sydney(10th ODI of the Commonwealth Bank Series), I could that he had a sense of integrity. Ever since India's home soil world cup triumph, he has changed personally. He seems a lot more arrogant and corrupted, just like how Anakin became. It's like he has now sold himself for money. I know that these are just speculations, but what i've learned about Indian cricket after making an account here is that anything can happen. I wouldn't be shocked if he was involved in the whole fiasco. P.S. Scarvesy, you are right on the money about Australians showering Yadav with praise during India's futile tour. That lad was the only one who bowled with a purpose, looking at the highlights of the 3rd test. Sharma gets such a free ride in the team and no criticism from Dhoni, but blokes like Aaron got harshly criticized after one loss. Ive become fascinated with how Indian cricket is run and it's closed door secrets during these past 2 days. I'm getting that detective feeling :). I enjoy mystery and horror thrillers.
