well then let him be extra outfielder and come in to replace all other 9 players and as you said Southie also plays like that for NZ well if Jadeja picked up as many wickets as Southie then he can get out after 10 balls at crease. The problem is jadeja is not good enough to be in the team as a bowler alone so his batting and fielding have to be far greater than guy like Southie.

Two tests ago he was not a saviour why is everyone acting as if Jadeja won a test for Indian team in durban he took 6 wickets when other team scored 500 plus runs , you do not get kudos as a bowler for that, I for one wanted him to replace Ashwin as Ashwin looked lost during odis but Ashwin might say wtf I have done wrong to be replaced by this guy after just one test failure where in I did the same job as him and I am much better batsman he ever will be. You can give time to player who has upside but I don't think Jadeja has any upside as a solo spinner in overseas conditions. When playing with just four bowlers you have to have every bowler to pick up wickets and Jadeja is not good enough to be played at no 6 that is the conundrum. Bhajji got all the abuse but if everyone is honest Bhajji was one of main reasons for India's last two test wins in SA and NZ.

Of course, this is the favorite pastime of Indian fans. Demand x, y, z to be dropped and when their replacements fail once or twice, ask them to be dropped. They change opinions like they change underwear. A good player today becomes the worst tomorrow. :winky:
