gator Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Shwetabh and company only remember when yuvraj is given a decent run in tests once and he didnt completely capitalized on it and for that he should never ever play tests agin..oh booo hooooo. Do not argue with him or he will bring up the stat of yuvrajs average of 33 in tests again to prove how bad of a player he is....hahahaha an average of 33 after 19 tests aint so bad really... steve waugh averaged less than tht in his first 20 tests..
Gaurav Posted October 28, 2007 Author Posted October 28, 2007 Rain scores another fast 50! What a series he has had :two_thumbs_up: Motu fails again! Motu better come good against Pak!

When Raina has played that many at the age of 27 and still continues to average 25, then we can perhaps have a like for like discussion. BTW, Raina has played more important ODI innings already than Yuvraj has in Tests. All this talk about potential, elegance and shot making has to be backed by numbers at some point. He will get one more run in the near future, if he fails to cement his spot, that may be the end of Raina How could you say the above with a straight face given your stance on Yuvraj?

CSK Fanatic Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Raina will bounce back soon, stronger than ever.
asterix Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Couple of grocery shopping trips, few trips escorting Mrs. Dhoni to help her in the shopping, being a good help to the Dhoni family during trips to Vaishno Devi, give company to M$D during dinners at various restaurants, looking after M$Ds needs during IPL (carrying his luggage, bringing food to the hotel room etc.) will ensure that Raina boy doesn't have to worry about his Test career..

koolkarts Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Where the hell is he meant to learn how to play the short ball? The guy puts in loads of hours in the nets, give him some more time! Sure, he shouldnt be in the starting XI, but he should be in the squad and be groomed further by Sach and co. He could quite easily get over the short ball, the way Dada did.
