He was the problem against Pakistan, he came when scoring rate was good but his slow batting totally stopped the momentum of innings and he never took off after playing 50 balls with less 50 SR. when batting at no4 you should be able to play at different tempos, rotating strike is very key and playing odd big shot if pressure is building both of which he is still lacking. I am not counting on Rahane becoming a good odi player for India.

What you say is correct but the point I was trying to make is that pakistan team iss bunch of cowards that can pay spin well specially lalaji. They cannot handle pace. India should have gone with three pace bowlers and the game was as good as won. Plus the scheduling hurt india too. Anyway water under the bridge.
