Temujin Khaghan Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Kallis and Pietersen are now out of the way... he is better than clarke, cook in ODI cricket and equal to if not better than them in Test cricket he is better than Dhoni, Kohli in Test cricket and equal to if not better than them in ODI cricket he can play pace bowling outside the subcontinent better than Sangakarra and Jayawardene Hashim Amla is the only batsman, who can compete with him on all levels. he can play swing, seam, bounce, and fast bowling in England, Australia, N/Z, SA he can play spin on dustbowls in Asia he can play in any position in the batting order he can play well in any format - Test, ODI, 20/20 he can dominate and consolidate he is the no.1 batsman in both tests and ODIs acc. to ICC rankings right now.

I only said, that Amla's skills in the lower order are yet to be known...
