For Sarfaraz Khan, U19 fame is just the beginning

Sarfaraz-Khan.jpg When it comes to our U19 team, the two talents that are being talked about the most are Vijay Zol and Sanju Samson. I don't think Sarfaraz Khan is getting as much attention as he deserves. For quite a while now he's come in at the lower order and he's scoring a lot of runs at a very quick pace. People will remember him for scoring a record 439 in a Harris Shield match, breaking Sachin Tendulkar's record in the process, but in the last year or so he's shown how attacking a player he is. He scored 101 off 66 balls against South Africa U19 in Vishakhapatnam and another unbeaten 67 against the same team at the same venue. Not to mention that he's also more than handy with the ball and take a few wickets when required. Future lower-middle order player? Can't see why not.

He was suspended for faking his age in Mumbai youth levels cricket. His father who is his cricket coach should be ashamed of this fact.Whatever greatness he achieves in future this will be a stigma on his cricketing career. His record is now broken by Armaan Jaffer, who is Wasim Jaffers nephew. Jo boond se gayee, wo haud se nahee aati :giggle:

Half truth is more dangerous than a lie: The Mumbai Cricket Association suspended him on charges of fudging his age, before eventually accepting the results of an advanced test. http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc-under-19-world-cup-2014/content/story/718683.html

Khan is da man - or so one hopes. Reminds one of the Midget. V. young and bowls both off and leg spin. Could become a very good ODI player.

Half truth.LOL He accepted he did something he should not. It is clear that MCA suspended him for the age related incident.Doing something as seriously wrong and as intentional without undue pressure to do that is a blunder. The only good thing is he accepted a mistake, but it also means he accepted he did a wrong thing and only accepted it when caught. He did not act by conscience of telling MCA that he had fudged his age.But i repeat he was caught for that act and had to be because in no way he could have defended such a act in court. No lawyer could have proved him to be of an age which he was not. He is a matchwinner , there is no debate on that. But there is also no debate on his acts, which are typical of our padosi cricket nations cricketing systems.

Half truth.LOL He accepted he did something he should not.Just because he accepted mistake does not means the wrongdoings should be erased. It will remain a stigma as has been on some Pakistani cricketers for age related incidents. It is clear that MCA suspended him for the age related incident.Doing something as seriously wrong and as intentional without undue pressure to do that is a blunder. Was their a threat to his life to do that. No,he did not say that.Just greed for a place in cash rich career in India. The only good thing is he accepted a mistake, but it also means he accepted he did a wrong thing and only accepted it when caught. He did not act by conscience of telling MCA that he had fudged his age.But i repeat he was caught for that act and had to plead guilty or accept it because in no way he could have defended such a act in court. No lawyer could have proved him to be of an age which he was not. Matchwinner, yes.He has proved it.But he definitely should not have done that thing.
