D1: Vijay/Pujara taking the blows and blunting the attach., They left more than they can bat. Kohli comes and bats like a dream for 25 runs when he gets a peach of a ball. Rahane batting with the tail starting from Dhoni! - esp with Kumar and that six off Anderson D2: Getting Cook early. Ballance getting a life , more importantly Kumar bowling like a dream. D3: Dhwan scoring some quick runs, Pujara/Vijay batting like I1. Dhoni/Vijay resurrecting batting a little bit. D4: Sir/Kumar adding a 100 runs. Sharma getting Cook and Bell. Amazing bowling D5: Sharma's day all the way..best short-ball bowling for a long time.English batting like bunnies.
vvvslaxman Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 We had couple of collapses that could have shut us out. Thankfully late order put up their hand and saved us. Batting won this game largely as bowlers were always in business with variable bounce towards the end.
