What was the most surprising element from Indian side?

Swann and Monty are lot more experienced at test level than Ashwin and Ojha. Its hardly a surprise they out bowled them.
At the time when the series started, the duo of Ashwin/Ojha were considered at par, if not even better than the Swann/Monty combo. Besides, i dont think anyone expected Monty to bowl the way he did. However, this is going to be the key deciding factor this series - If Bhuvi/Ishant continue to outbowl Anderson/Broad, then we have better than realistic chance of clinging on to the lead in this series. If not, we could go into the 5th test at 1-1

Water is a compound' date=' not an element![/quote'] sorry to be pedantic but this is your quote"Sodium is the highest percentage of a chemical element found in sweat".this statement is not true.if you go by atoms the highest percentage is obviously Hydrogen and if you go by go by mass its oxygen. If you had said highest percentage of free metals in sweat then you would be right.

It's not the most elementary question. For example, someone like Stuart Binny does not have a side at all. Circles have no sides or edges. Usually Indian sides touring England look like they've been exposed to the elements. They didn't this time, that was pretty surprising.

Dhoni asking bowler to bowl bouncers has to be the most surprising aspect considering our docile captain rarely ever makes any attacking move. Equally surprising was Ishant actually getting wickets. But don't get your hopes too high. I won't say Bhuvi's batting was a surprise. He is a diligent cricketer who always gives his 100%. He is technically compact while batting and is very capable of batting long durations.
