theguyinallblue
The way aussie batsmen are piling runs against SL..we will need Sehwag in australian conditions.. he is one player who will score runs...and will score quickly.. the pace and bounce of the aussie pitches...will help him score and regain his confidence.. it seems the tour will be between their batsmen and our batsmen.. we will need to really play out of our skin to score 550-650 runs in an innigs.. Sachin and Dravid will score runs..but rest others too will have to contribute in a big way.. Sree and RP will be the key... zaheer is out of form..not sure if he wili do well there or not.. pakistan series will give a clear idea of what our team will do in australia. Link to comment
Dravid
agree .. nopeee kkd can do it Link to comment
Ram
I will bet my family's wealth that Sehwag will be in the team for the Aussie tour. No sane cricket-follower can ever leave out Sehwag from the touring party of a 4 test series against Aus. The team and the selectors recognize and respect his talent. Plus, he isnt looking in bad nick too , with the bat. Scored a couple of decent knocks in 20/20 and few respectable innings in ODIs too. The best thing that could happen to Sehwag right now is that one of our openers are rested for the 5th ODI, he opens and scores a 70-odd or something. A lot will depend on how the openers fare in the Pak series. Link to comment
DesiChap
Aussie batsmen are in form however our bowlers are much better than the SL. SL is shyte outside of their island. Link to comment
DesiChap
Sehwag must be included in the 15 for Aus. Link to comment
sm332
Sehwag is a must in tests period .... once again ... he is the sole Indian batsman (top order) who can impose himself of the game. I like what Jaffer and KKD have done ... but Sehwag has to be taken into the test team pronto Link to comment

U sud have wacthed them bowl yesterday certainly better than our bowlers ..aussies batsmen though are in peak form everybody Link to comment
Guest dada_rocks
Hope sehwag gets included in playing eleven in last match and scores a century.. then he goes to domestic circuit cracks couple of century there..selectors then will have no other option but to induct him in indian team Link to comment

Ah yes, the obvious. Why can't the selectors understand it when it's clear for everyone else to see? Link to comment
sm332
Salil --- kya kare "we are like this only" bloody mofos Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
I'm most afraid that Yuseless with his test average of 33 will head on the touring party there (given the selectors' love for him based off ODI form), while Sehwag will be left at home. Link to comment
Tugga
well i don't think including Sehwag is going 2 be a big advantage....he was in form then and now his career graph is looking like its on the downswing...!!! Aussies bowlers now from then have improved too... Lee is doing a great job and has considerably improved from waht he was under Steve Waugh, Bracken has improved if not the same bowler he was back then and now they have Johnson, Tait who can bowl it as fast as any "fast" bowler in the world...!!!! And you don't exactly need ppl who can 'impose' themsleves in Tests (even against Aussies)...they have biffers but then they have grafters too...Jaques, Hussey havent exactly set the stadium on fire against SL, but were/are still very effective...A team can still win a test if they can just accumulate runs...!!! Guest dada_rocks
he never went out of form in test cricket except one series Link to comment
sm332
yeah this is what i am trying to say .... the man never really went off the boil so why is he cooling his heels? Link to comment
Tugga
Is he Aussie-match ready? if the selectors/think-tank can play him in any tour matches v have down under and he still shows the same ol' sehwag-confidence then whoz 2 stop him!!! Link to comment
dial_100
If need be, bring in Yuv but no Sehwag. He should be playing FC games to prove that he is any serious about his game. Link to comment
Predator_05
Sehwag is sh*te now. He can stay at home in Defense Colony and play gully cricket with Pintu and Babloo. The rest of you can stack up on DVDs of those halycon days of '05 and '04, when he used to be a great batsman. Link to comment

Cricketics
whatz sehwag link with Aussie Batsmanz in form??? Regardless of Aussie batsmanz in form we need Sehwag.. u should have said "Aussie Bowlers in form, we need sehwag" i hope he is picked in Aussie tour.. but for that too happen.... atleast a batsman has to fail against pakistan in forthcoming test series..
