ECB showing them who is the boss.They will take the money BCCI can bring into ICC and still treat them as ****.Giles Clarke must have laughed and thrown out Srini from his office when Srini came in with this request. No wonder ICC was once known as Imperial Cricket council and ECB had a veto there.And before that MCC a private club ran world cricket.

Malcolm Merlyn Posted August 6, 2014 Author Posted August 6, 2014 The ICC has decided not to appeal against the not guilty verdict handed to James Anderson in the pushing case involving Ravindra Jadeja from Trent Bridge. The Level 3 offence that India charged Anderson with was heard by judicial commissioner Gordon Lewis on August 1 and a lack of video evidence and impartial testimony led him to let Anderson off. The BCCI had requested the governing body to lodge an appeal, as only the chief executive Dave Richardson or the player concerned, can stake the claim. However, the ICC believes the dispute has been investigated thoroughly and an appeal would serve no purpose. "This outcome is the result of two exhaustive and thorough disciplinary processes and, after considering the written decision, the ICC is satisfied with the manner in which the decisions have been reached," Richardson said. "The disciplinary procedures were robust and transparent and all parties had ample opportunity to ask questions, test the evidence and make submissions. We have determined that there is no merit in an appeal and that it would not be in the best interest of the sport to take such action. "It was a complicated and sensitive matter relating to charges brought against two players at different levels of the ICC Code of Conduct. There appears to have been vastly conflicting evidence on both sides, with a total of 13 witnesses who gave testimony. Anderson said he did in self defense. Jaddu says otherwise. They have nothing to corroborate the whole incident.

An Indian Gambhir was fined and banned.

BCCI needs to create a rival organisation to ICC. allow 3 foreign players in each team in ranji trophy and vijay hazare trophy plus increase IPL teams to 12 then we'll see who's the boss. everyone will flock to play domestic cricket in india:weights:

That is the problem. Abusing may not have same consequence .

So basically the judge believed Andersons and English teams words that Anderson pushed Jadeja for self defence and hence no punishment.Word of an englishmen over an Indian is the norm.No issues there.
