After trying both for a while,I found that the 1$ DVD Rental from the neighborhood grocery store's vending machine was the best value for money! If you have to choose between the 2 I would say Blockbuster is the better deal for its added advantage of store credits etc....not much to choose between the 2 really.

Netflix for me....they have a huge library of Hollywood as well as Bollywood films....no due date so good for someone like me...I've had my last rental lying in my house for a week before I opened it lol

Just one week. Thats not so bad! I sometimes keep things for a long time...So, the netflix or blockbuster 4.99 a month is a good option for me! :D Just trying to choose between the two $4.99 cheap ones!

+1:two_thumbs_up: Buy yourself a divx player such as the Phillips one and some re-writeable dvds. Then just download, burn and watch on your tv.

i was a netflix customer for more than a year and recently changed to blockbuster online.... Netflix recommendation software is handsdown better than BB... but online library collection wise, they are similar....what i liked most about the BB deal was unlimited store exchange.... sometimes on a friday, i am stuck with both movies that i have watched... with blockbuster, u can choose to drive down to the store and exchange it.... unlike someone mentioned earlier, there is no return date for BB online as well....

Gator/others, When you "drive down to the store and exchange it", then does that new movie you get have a return date for it? Or is the in-store pickup also considered as NO deadline to return?

If it is a very new movie, then it is a 2 day rental

If it is a very new movie' date=' then it is a 2 day rental[/quote'] So, then basically it is the same rules as taking in the store, online rules (of no return date) does not apply the moment you do an in-store exchange, right? Hmm...thats not so exciting.
