But clearly, England are jealous of the IPL! I would like to see the tone of that question and the response. Some of these reporters are jacka*** of the highest order. The IPL have become a an easy fix for all that ails India. You would think India have an excellent record outside the subcontinent (or even within it) before the IPl came along. When people say "work on their test game". How? the domestic calender is over in most countries during May/June apart from England. Lets assume the IPL was not there. India would instead be playing international cricket in some form or the other. Fundamentally the ranji pitches and format needs to change. We need more bounce and moment.

Probably another one of his jokes, similar to the "we would get two extra days to rest" one. The English media is a biatch and asks tough questions, this seems to be Dhoni's way to break out of their clutches. Not sure if this is a good idea though. Makes him look cold and detached from test cricket, will only lead to riling up the media/fans even more as we are experiencing here in this forum lol.
