seedhi Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Faizabad girl gangraped, dies at Trauma Centre In yet another case of gangrape and murder, four youths of Faizabad gangraped a 17-year-old girl in a moving car and then threw her out of the vehicle in Barabanki late Saturday night. The victim was a resident of Aminganj under Khandsa police station in Faizabad district. The girl was rushed in a critical stage at Trauma Centre in the state capital where she died on Sunday morning. Police sources said that the youths took the girl in their SUV and then raped her. Later, the accused strangulated her and threw her near the highway from the moving vehicle under the Safdarganj police station in Barabanki district. On getting the information, a police vehicle reached the place and took the girl to the district hospital from where she was referred to the KGMU’s Trauma Centre in Lucknow where she died on Sunday morning. The victim, a student of Intermediate, had given her statement to police before her death in which she blamed mobile shop owner Shoib aka Nadeem and his three friends for the crime. The victim in her statement said she was abducted by Shoib and his friends when she was going to her friend’s house. Tension prevailed in Aminganj area of Faizabad after the incident and additional security forces were deployed in the village. Police claimed that they had arrested one of the accused but others were absconding. Meanwhile, a team of five doctors conducted the post-mortem examination with videography. The DNA of the girl was preserved for investigation. According to police, Shoib aka Nadeem is the resident of Bari under the Rudauli police station. Shoib runs a mobile shop in Amaniganj. The body of the girl bore several injury marks on her face, chest and back. The victim is survived by her mother, a brother, two sisters and a grandfather. Inspector incharge of Khandasa police station Harilal Kardam said that a case of abduction had been lodged against Shoib. “We are waiting for the post-mortem report to ascertain rape,†he added. Family members of the deceased revealed that the girl was abducted, gangraped and beaten badly due to which she had died. “My girl was innocent. A few micreants had perpetrated such a barbaric act on her. Criminals should be given strick punishment. The women's panel took suo motu cognisance of media reports on the crime, which took place on Sunday evening. It thus becomes yet another addition to a long list of such crimes that have rocked the state over the last few weeks. Earlier, tension gripped the communally sensitive UP town following the woman's abduction and gangrape, followed by a brutal assault leading to her death, as the police tried to pass off the incident as an accident initially when the needle of suspicion pointed to a boy from the minority community. The city saw a heavy deployment of police force after the victim's relatives kept her body at the Amaniganj road crossing and held protests all through the night. The victim's relatives said she had gone to the neighbourhood market around 7:30 pm. They tried reaching her on her mobile phone 15 minutes later but failed. They said the police were first informed about her being traceless a little after 8 pm. That was the religious issue. That techie was killed for being Muslim. This is not. This is crime. No need to breed hatred. Hope you get warning or ban for communalizing a crime which has nothing to with religion.

Is there evidence to suggest this is not ? Wonder how you came to this conclusion. If you think Benefit of doubt goes to minority always does mean it is true.

I myself saw that crowd doing vandalizing properties while shouting Jai Shivaji. Same crowd killed that Techie. There is no doubt there was religion involved in whole issue. You too are not so naïve to say no religion was involved. 2. You can look at my post on caterer issue where I had said that this doesn't seem to be religious issue but outright goonda gardi which ShivSainiks are used to anyways. 3. a) you posted this event in political section. b) Look at the post # 5 to see who brought communal/secular issue in the matter.
