new system is not harsher its just more accurate ..its not counting more degrees its just forcing bowlers to bowl with similar action like they do in real matches. ajmal was passed before because he changed his action during testing..i do not think mcgrath was tested for chucking or has any reason to change action
Exactly, and that is what should be done about bowlers with clean actions as well. Just ask to reproduce their effort balls and see whether they are still within limits. My gut feeling is that a significant number will be over 15 (but n o where close to 40).

Umpires are there to do this job and if an umpire feels the bowler is chucking then he will be reported. Too bad chucklitharan got away because of the old regime but at least no more mystery chuckers will come out of chucklanka in the future:two_thumbs_up:

btw thongale ...what you are suggesting should be done by your board .. in our domestic cricket chuckers are weeded out..first reported and then tested and if outside of range they are helped changing action .. you can see in last few years no new bowler from india has dodgy action...icc cannot test every bowler its board's job to test and ban bowlers and if some how case like ajmal happens then umpires report them.
