His skill-sets and ingrained approach is likely to be counter-productive in T20. He himself considers it 3rd favourite format. He played 2 or 3 good innings and has flopped totally since. Jonathan Carter (random dude) has played better than him in this tournament. I'm sure Kane will get a great contract because most franchises are idiots when it comes to player selection and strategy. He will most likely chew up balls, waste time, score a few mediocre 50's and 60's in losing efforts and generally be on a mediocre IPL team like Finch, KP, Ross Taylor, De Kock, Rahane and other selfish 'steady' batsman that most stupid IPL teams lust after.
