Only movie I watched him not doing any insane stuff with good performance is the movie with Mamoothy. Watch his performances in Thillu mullu then ambulla rajnikanth... He's a bit typecast, but his charm is unbelievable. Had he entered politics around 2000 (padayappa time), he'd be undoubtedly ruling TN even now... such was his pull back then. But being the legend he is, never went behind such stuff.

But Endhiran is a landmark movie in Indian cinema. Baba is very underrated, for me, one of his best. The concepts and story was awesome but unfortunately the execution sucked.
