Yantra Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 It is given that the best bast bowlers off all time are supreme athlete and there are very few exceptions my list of top 10 fast bowlers who are/were supreme athlete are given below, this is purely the list of out and out athletes those who are great sprinter, very agile, rocket arm, great fielder any positions etc... I have kept out semi athletes like Imran Khan, Botham, Akram, Shaun Pollock, etc..to be successful at highest level, have long injury free carrier and take lots of wickets this is must have quality. 1, Brett Lee 2, Kapil Dev 3, Dale Steyn 4, Allan Donald 5, Dannis Lillie 6, Jimmy Anderson 7, Malcom Marshal 8, Richard Haddlee 9, Michelle Johnson 10, Andy Roberts Let me know if I have missed any one. Unless India don't produce such quality athletes will have to leave with this whole army of trundlers, none of the present Indian bowlers are athletes at best they are semi athletes.

-Robin- Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Southee and Boult but both are not great bowlers yet
Yantra Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 Yes Brett Lee is undisputed number 1, I have put Kapil at second ahead of many others cause great fielding ability, had sharp reaction when on field plus highly focus not to mention his rocket/accurate arm, I still remember those days when his throws would end up right over the bells from boundry lines, one thing he was lacking in is ability to dive to field balls but would make that up with his swift move across the turfs.
Temujin Khaghan Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Imran Khan is a jogging freak. he was addicted to jogging.
