Domestic wicket keeper track thread

There are so many wicket keepers from Indian domestics but they are all decent at best. Saha is a very impressive one but his batting does not seem to click in the Indian colours. There is Naman Ojha, Robin Uthappa, Smit Patel and Sanju Samson but their wicket keeping skills are not as good as their batting. Uday Kaul is someone with good temperament with the bat but not many have seen him keep wicket! We badly need a good back up keeper batsman as Dhoni's absence makes a huge difference in this team(No I'm not talking tests here!)

Smit Patel is doing well with the bat in the Vijay hazare trophy but he is not keeping as they have Pappu Patel

Kaul is a pathetic keeper. Saha is best we have atm in terms of WK bat.Samson needs to improve his keeping or should play as a batsman Their are guys like Tare,Gautam apart from OP

Seen Tare's keeping in IPL not impressed though Gautham is a decent bat dunno about his keeping skills :dontknow: he played for KKR na ?

Tare is a just about ok batsman and a below par keeper last to last year he did have a great ranji run for mumbai but mellowed down.

and on the keepers For me Sanju Samson has to prove it with the gloves. If he plays just as a batsman then fair enough. All things considered IMO Saha and Ojha should be what we are looking at IMO

Most of our domestic keepers are batsmen pretending to be keepers. It is so ridiculously easy to replace them behind the stumps; any Rayudu, Uthappa, Jadhav can do the same. Soon all teams will play with 7 batsmen and have a rotating keeper in the match.
