Nadal's coach thinks Federer is the greatest of all time

Outside of clay they are pretty even and this with a federer who is nearing end of his career.
Yeah.. if you say 10-8 as even :giggle:. And also you take out Indoor/Carpets it becomes 9-4 :winky:. Federer's misery can't be camouflaged in slicing and dicing of numbers. On OP, it talks more about the humility of Nadal and his camp, rather than greatness of Federer. Compare this with the fact Federer was not ready to admit Nadal even as his rival despite being pounded by a teenager, time and again.

Nadal and uncle Tony know that they have the number on fed but I think they do acknowledge that he is the best ever.tennis is just not about numbers, sure Nadal would **** all over fed in their head to head but there's more to the game,Fed's passion for the game, the love from people all around, the aura when he's around, his style of play etc add to a lot of things as well.fed is the benchmark and will remain for a long time

Nadal has a big positive H2H record against all the great players of this era. Federer is about equal with Djokovic and lagging behind Murray and Nadal methinks. Federer won Grand Slams beating the likes of Roddick,Baghdatis,Agassi,Hewitt etc while Nadal has beaten the big fish on course to his GS victories. Nadal is better than Federer and this coming from a diehard Federer fan.

For a change,it's nice to see a Fed fan admitting that Fed's competition in his early slam winning years was mediocre to say the least.

First and foremost is GS count. Fed is out in front with 17, he's the greatest. Only Rafa fans will bring up the H2H in this argument, the reason they do is because he doesn't have the most Slams. Quite simple for you guys really, hope your man gets to 18 slams and then he'll be the greatest.

Nadal will most likely at least equal Federer, unless he doesn't face even more injuries. As much of a fan I am of Nadal, I have to admit that Federer is the best tennis player we've seen. Pretty good to hear this from Nadal's coach, I'm sure Nadal shares similar opinions.
