zubinpepsi Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Hi guys, I have a transfer time of 3 hrs at Mumbai airport and that too in the midnight. Is it sufficient to transfer between International and Domestic terminals?? any one has experience at mumabi airport? Thanks
asterix Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 That should be enough time. They have buses plying between the two airports every 30mins. to transfer passengers. If you are using JET airways for domestic travel then they have their own transport.
coffee_rules Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 It is pretty good. I recently had an hour's time only for outgoing and I did it with 15 min spare. They let you jump lines, the shuttles are about 15 to 30 min apart. 3 hours is ample. If you are entering India, then you go through immigration and customs and handover the luggage for domestic transfer just outside customs. They used to provide complementary snacks - chai and samosa for people from Intl flights waiting for the shuttle, now we have to pay 50 rs for a coffee.
aceofbase Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 You are lucky...you will be missing the sights of the slums next to the airport since it is midnight...Otherwise the transfer will make sure you take a peek into the life of slum people.....i had that experience a couple of years back and was taken aback..
